A time to walk the four paths of the spiritual journey in light of Isaiah 60:1,5,19; John 10:10, 8:12 and Earth’s Imagination – a video series by Dr. Brian Swimme. For men and women who pray and desire to live as beacons of hope. Bring a poem, short story or picture that brings light to your life.

Mother-Adult Daughter Retreat
Birth-Life-Death-Rising:  Jesus’ Mystery ~ and Mine!

April 25 - 27, 2008 Fri. 7:30 pm – Sun. 1:30 pm

A wise person once said that when listening to a religious story, I should assume that the story is being told “just for me,” and ask myself why God intended me to hear this story at this time. So why do we Christians tell ourselves each year the story of the Paschal Mystery? Perhaps it’s exactly what we and our world need to hear!

Centering Prayer Intensive
May 16 – 23, 2008 Fri. 7:30 pm – Fri. 1:30 pm
Facilitators: Ken Ecklund and Darlyne Pape
A seven-day retreat with increased periods of Centering Prayer and education in the form of The Spiritual Journey video tape series by Fr. Keating. Some centering prayer experience required.

Wildflower Retreat
June 6 – 8, 2008 Fri. 7:30 pm – Sun. 1:30 pm
Presenter: Carol Ann Wassmuth, 0SB
“The land will bloom with abundant flowers, and rejoice with joyful song.” (Is. 35:2) Each spring the hillside behind the monastery is vivid with colorful wildflowers. This weekend will allow time to touch into the beauty of these flowers by learning their names and joining in their chorus of praise to God.

Starry, Starry Night
June 20 – 22, 2008 Fri. 7:30 pm – Sun. 1:30 pm
Presenter: Meg Sass, OSB
North Star, Morning and Evening stars, Constellations, Clusters, Star of Bethlehem. Stars have always fascinated those on a spiritual journey. We’ll reflect together on the role of stars in Scripture and as markers for our own faith journeys. Participants will be invited to hike to the Sisters’ cemetery and on up to the meadow so bring your Bible, good hiking shoes and a flashlight.
