V. Simon helps jesus

We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You, because by your holy cross You have redeemed the world.

Jesus, teach me what it meant to have Simon help you:

To accept lifesaving help from a stranger who was forced into it.

To surrender a load that might otherwise kill you.

To not entirely want to surrender it.

To not know how to thank him, or to be able to.

Jesus, teach me what it means--

to have a Simon help me.
