The Benedictine Sisters of the Monastery of St. Gertrude and artist Melanie Weidner invite you to enter more deeply into the Passion of the Earth, an art installation located at Spirit Center that provides a fresh telling of the Creation Story. Using poetry and art, theology and science, new connections between Christian faith and our relationship with the Earth are made.

This beautiful set of seven, 5.5" x 8.5", full color cards, features reprints of each of the seven art pieces in the installation, with a short reflection. Use the cards in your meditation or prayer, as topics for a discussion group, or as a gift to someone who loves the Earth.

Also available is a companion 2-DVD Set documenting the history and process of making the Passion of the Earth, some history of the monastery, teaching segments and bloopers.
