What We Do

Our Monastic Community

According to the Rule of Benedict, Chapter 48, "Idleness is the enemy of the soul. Therefore, the community members should have specific periods for labor."

Monastic life itself is our primary ministry out of which we respond to the needs of the world. Our sisters are missioned to serve according to their gifts.

As we strive to transform the world through prayer, community and service, we find ourselves
serving in many places and in many ways.

Our sisters also minister throughout Idaho

Wherever we go to serve, our work and prayer bind us to and bond us with our monastic community.
